The Department of Statistics, Purdue University invites applications for two faculty positions beginning August 2016. Both hires will join an exciting, modern, and established department that includes applied, theoretical and computational statisticians. Purdue Statistics offers a stimulating and nurturing academic environment with more than 35 tenured and tenure-track faculty members directing research programs in a broad-range of areas.

The first position is at the rank of Associate Professor with tenure in the area of Computational Finance. This hire will engage and invigorate an existing and successful interdepartmental graduate Program in Computational Finance.
The second position is at the rank of Assistant Professor in the area of Probability. Applicants who can interact or collaborate with the exiting faculty are particularly welcome.
